" I have found the one whom my soul loves." - Song of Solomon 3:4
May 27. 2016 was an exciting day... MacKenzie and Sheldon's wedding was here and it was going to be a good day. It was my first wedding and to say I was nervous was an understatement. I feel blessed that MacKenzie and Sheldon had the faith in me to capture their precious day and I wanted to make I did not let them down.
MacKenzie and Sheldon has picked Port Aransas, Texas for their destination wedding with a bonfire reception. How awesome is that? It was only fitting that the details of their wedding be simple, yet tied to a beach theme. MacKenzie's sister, Jessica, surprised her with a bouquet made out of seashells and a locket necklace! It was UH- MAZE- ING! The detail of the bouquet tied in with theme and the wedding colors, was perfectly done!
Then there was the rings. Simple and elegant. And to be displayed on a starfish! I just loved how simple the details were, yet so unique that embodied this union. The dress was perfect for the beach. The wind blew it just perfectly making for some amazing shots.
Although the weather was 45 mile an hour winds. Spirits still soared along with the breeze. Cheery, seemingly stress free, and excited faces as each person in the wedding began to get ready for the ceremony. The day was made for this blessing.
My favorite parts of the day, were hands down the first looks! Not just the groom, but for the bridesmaids, and the bride's father. The reactions were priceless and the smiles were bright and filled with so much love. It was amazing to watch and capture!
Sheldon and MacKenzie, your day was perfect. Your day was magical. I wish you a perfect and magical marriage. Enjoy your journey together!
