"But He knows where I am going and when he tests me, I will come out as pure GOLD!"- Job 23.10
Graduation is right around the corner for the Class of 2016! How exciting! It takes me back to when I was graduating. All those mixed emotions on this huge emotional roller coaster! First, the excitement! Yes! Freedom: No one to tell me what to do, when to be home, to do this and that and do your homework! No more waking up early and going to class! Pride: I did it! I worked so hard and I finally made it to the next chapter of my life! Fear: OMG! Please don't let me trip when I walk across the stage to get my diploma! OMG! What about all my friends? Will we see each other any more? Will we still be close? *Tear* Stress free: After walking across the stage... the next week. Ahhh the life! I think I will get up around 3 PM and catch up with the homies... Reality: What? I graduated high school... What do you mean I still have a curfew? Job? I have to get a job? I thought you were paying for college? Chores? I'm GROWN! Ahhhh the good ol days! Gavin and Madison, enjoy this crazy roller coaster called life. It goes by fast! Remember all your parents taught you, I know they just seem like nagging old people who don't remember what it is like to be a teenager but trust me they do and that's why they bug you! They never want you to make the same mistakes as them because they want your life to be bigger and better! Enjoy college. It truly is one of the best experiences in life. Soak it in, make lots of friends and stay true to yourself and your faith. If you get lost in the shuffle, look up and listen. You always have a guide in HIM. Congratulations!
